Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is seeking a candidate for the position of **Senior Bridge Project Design Engineer V** in AECOM's Chicago, ILL. office. Specifics of the role include: + Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- large-size projects. + Leads technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling. + Leads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise. + Leads technical business development work. + Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise. + Approves and signs off on work. + Leader in one or more areas of technology. + Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule a to meet requirements on large, complex projects. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree + 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. **Preferred Qualifications:** + 10 + years' experience in bridge design + Project management skills + Excellent verbal communication and writing skills, including technical report writing. + Structural problem analysis skills (including knowledge/use of design and calculation tools, software) + Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices, techniques and applicable Codes. + Knowledge of current structural modeling software tools + A current Illinois PE license. + A current SE license highly preferred. **Additional Information** + All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. + No relocation offered with this opportunity. + Sponsorship is not offered for this position. + Offered rate of compensation (Chicago, ILL. area only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $200,000. Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
