Role Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will oversee the accounts payable process, ensure accuracy and timeliness in invoice processing, and maintain vendor relationships. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience in a mid-to-large company.

• Proficiency in AP software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).

• Strong understanding of general accounting principles.

• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.

• Knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).

• Ability to lead and mentor junior AP staff.
