Accounts Payable Accountant

We are a specialized commercial contractor focused on tile and stone projects. With over 20 years of delivering precision and craftsmanship, our team is built on stability and expertise. Most of our employees have been with us for a decade or more. As our long-serving Accounts Payable Controller plans to retire after two decades of dedicated service, were seeking a full-time, in-office professional to step into this key role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter invoices into accounting systems with accuracy.
• Manage accounts payable, including processing check runs.
• Reconcile monthly bank statements.
• Prepare financial statements and generate monthly/year-end reports.
• Handle sales and use tax reporting and payments.
• Process and report 1099s.

Tools & Skills Required:

• Experience with Pro Contractor by Viewpoint or similar accounting software.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis.
• Strong adaptability, able to switch tasks quickly and efficiently.
• Comfortable handling deadlines and high-pressure situations.

Location:
Full-time, on-site at our office In San Carlos, CA.
