The Senior Manager of Accounting will have responsibilities that include: technical accounting, consolidated reporting, GAAP compliance, SOX Compliance, staff management, driving process improvements, audit support, intercompany transactions, and collaboration with the SEC Reporting and Intercompany accounting teams.
The ideal candidate for this Senior Accounting Manager role will have:
- Bachelor's in Accounting (Master's preferred)
- CPA (required)
- Big 4 or other national firm public accounting audit experience
- Deep technical accounting experience
- Strong internal controls understanding
- Experience with consolidated reporting of multiple entities is helpful
- Experience with intercompany transactions and some international accounting is helpful
- Exposure to SEC reporting or SEC filer/clients
- 6-8+ years of progressive and relevant experience
- Experience managing staff
- Superior communication and relationship building skills
- History of job stability and career progression
