We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our fast-paced finance team. This is a permanent role that offers an exciting opportunity to significantly contribute to the growth of our business. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Overseeing the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
2. Directing all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to the general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting.
3. Analyzing company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budgets. Issue regular status and ad hoc reports to senior management.
4. Providing strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth needs.
5. Developing and coordinating all relationships with lending/financial institutions.
6. Developing and maintaining all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting. Ensuring that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
7. Assisting senior management in financial planning and results management. Work with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.
8. Coordinating, preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
9. Coordinating and/or preparing tax schedules, returns and information.
10. Managing relationships with insurance providers and ensuring compliance.
11. Managing all tax planning and compliance with all required federal, state, local, payroll, property, and other applicable taxes.
12. Managing cash flow.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role.
3. Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting and variance analysis.
4. Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
5. Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, especially a high level of proficiency in Excel.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
7. Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
9. Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation.
10. Demonstrated ability to build and manage effective teams.
11. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
12. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
13. Experience in a technology company or high-growth environment is a plus.
14. Experience with ACH payments, Accounts Payables, AR, accounting ledgers, cash flows, profit and loss, and balance sheet.
