Are you an experienced Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you have a knack for numbers and a keen eye for detail? If so, we invite you to join our dynamic Marketing team as a Consulting Senior Accountant (Temp). This position is an integral part of our finance team and plays a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will be responsible for managing a wide range of accounting and financial functions, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, billing, and internal controls. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to various facets of the marketing industry, and to make a significant impact on our business operations.

Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and posting journal entries, and maintaining and updating Amortization Schedules.
• Managing the cost of goods, royalties, and fulfillment.
• Overseeing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and billing.
• Conducting regular variance analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues.
• Maintaining accurate records of fixed assets.
• Developing and implementing robust internal controls to enhance financial integrity and accountability.
• Utilizing advanced Excel skills, Google Sheets, and Google Slides to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
• Working with the NetSuite accounting system to streamline financial processes.
• Collaborating with various departments to support financial operations and strategic planning.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Consulting Senior Accountant position possesses the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the marketing industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using Google Sheets, Google Slides, and advanced Excel.
• Extensive experience in managing accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, billing, and internal controls.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including journal entries, cost of goods, royalties, fulfillment, and Amortization Schedules.
• Experience with NetSuite accounting software.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to perform variance analysis and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Solid understanding of accounting for fixed assets.
• Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism.
