Senior Accountant - Strategic Employment

An award winning commercial real-estate firm is hiring for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team in Sparrows Point, MD. This is a key hire that will work alongside the Controller to assist in all aspects of the accounting life cycle including month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis. This role is onsite with some hybrid flexibility as needed. 

Required: 

• 4+ years of experience in corporate or public accounting
• Prior exposure to real estate property or construction accounting is preferred
• Exposure to accounting software tools such as Yardi Voyager, Oracle NetSuite, or similar
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field of study

Nice to have:

• CPA designation or progress toward certification
• Commercial real estate property accounting experience
