Senior Accountant - Addison Group

The Addison Group is currently seeking a Senior Accountant for one of our clients in the Newport Beach area. This is a part time remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review month-end journal entries (JEs) to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
• Ensure timely resolution of reconciling items to maintain accurate financial records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on month-end close and reconciliations.
