Senior Accountant

In partnership with a great client of ours, we are hiring for a Senior Accountant with 5+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry. Working alongside senior leadership, the Senior Accountant will be well-versed in financial reporting and analysis, inventory, and cost accounting. This candidate will be expected to collaborate heavily with other divisions within the company to meet financial need. 

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles
• Responsible for all cost accounting activities such as inventory cycle counts, analysis of production costs, inventory, and expenses for projects
• Oversee the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring all necessary adjustments are made
• Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to management, highlighting key trends and variances
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve organizational efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years senior accounting experience in the Manufacturing industry required
• Proficient in financial reporting software and ERP systems
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Ability to work independently is critical
• Excellent communication skills and must be a self-starter

Compensation 

Salary Range - $80k - $100k (DOE)
