We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position offering an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the general ledger, performing account reconciliations, and providing financial analysis and reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of GAAP, proficiency in Excel and SQL, and experience with ERP systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee the entire accounting process including the general ledger, account reconciliations, and monthly close process.
2. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis.
3. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies and procedures.
4. Develop and implement effective financial strategies, controls, and processes.
5. Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and operations.
6. Assist with audits and tax preparation.
7. Use Excel, SQL, and ERP systems to manage financial data and generate reports.
8. Provide financial advice and strategic support to senior management including preparing financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, and other projects requested by senior management.
9. Train and mentor junior staff in accounting procedures and use of financial software.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
4. Proficient in Excel, SQL, and ERP systems.
5. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
10. CPA certification is preferred but not required.
