Senior Accountant & Accounting Manager - Venteon

Our client, one of the fastest growing CPA Firms in Michigan, is looking to add to their growing team. If you have a passion for public accounting and seeking a client focused firm, this is a firm to consider. They are seeking a high-energy, driven Accounting Manager.

Requirements of the Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor s degree in accounting or related field; Master s degree is a plus.
• CPA certification, is a plus.
• 6+ years of experience in public accounting or industry.
• Strong accounting background, including payroll and account reconciliations.
• Experience in business and individual taxation.
• Supervisory, training, and leadership skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and tax compliance tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Axcess Tax).

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

• Lead, manage, and hold yourself and others accountable in alignment with core values.
• Oversee client engagements, manage relationships, and understand client culture and business.
• Provide technical oversight in accounting systems, tax research, planning, and compliance.
• Identify opportunities with existing clients and develop new client contacts through networking.
• Promote a learning environment, support and coach team members, and develop career paths for growth.
