Summary:
This position is located within the Emergency Planning Unit, Office of Special Programs, High Threat Programs Directorate, Bureau of Diplomatic Security Service, Arlington, VA.
In this position, you will serve as an emergency planning and crisis management specialist responsible for providing previously established policy and guidance on Emergency Action Plans.

This is a non-status, non-permanent Personal Service Contract (PSC) position. PSC’s do not acquire a competitive or excepted service status from this position. Contract is 1 year; renewable up to 4 years.

Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.
Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience assessing crisis-related data to provide emergency planning for security programs.
- Experience delivering briefings to senior officials on tactics in crisis management.
- Experience identifying deficiencies and providing recommendations for Emergency Action Plans.
There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-13 position.
