Summary:
THIS IS AN OVERSEAS POSITION.
This position is located in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Directorate for International Programs, Office of Regional Directors (DS/IP/RD) and deploys to Camp As Sayliyah (CAS), Regional Security Office (RSO), Vetting Unit, Doha, Qatar.
In this position, you will screen personnel for access to the U.S. Department of State managed facility for Afghan Relocation. You will report to the CAS Vetting Team Lead and work alongside linguists.

This is a non-status, non-permanent Personal Service Contract (PSC) position. PSCs do not acquire a competitive or excepted service status from this position. Contract is 1 year; renewable up to 4 years.

Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement.
Applicants applying for the GS-12 must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
• Experience analyzing and/or evaluating classified information to make determinations on security matters as it relates to applicant vetting process.
• Experience with vetting and/or investigative questioning techniques and strategies.
• Experience in liaising with and providing guidance to diverse security officials and organizations regarding the policies and operations of a security vetting program.
There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-12 position.
