About the Job
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in sales in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products and platforms.
- 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, security architecture, or incident response.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience applying technology to solve business problems.
- Deep knowledge of the Public Sector cybersecurity landscape.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and manage talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
- Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT/security technology space.
- Ability to deliver a professional business and technical pitch to the C-Suite and board levels, with excellent presentation skills.

Our team's primary focus is to sell Cyber Solutions, which spans products (e.g., Chronicle, Mandiant, Virustotal, BeyondCorp Enterprise, Security Command Center Premium), people, and process (e.g. consulting services). The team is also fundamentally responsible for being subject matter experts in securing cloud environments and making Federal customers feel comfortable modernizing their applications and moving their workloads to the cloud.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$194,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Partner with public sector customers and partners as their trusted Google security and compliance advisor, identifying cloud related security and compliance design, development and deployment friction points from the customers’ perspective, and rally teams to work through solutions.
- Work with customers and partners to define joint initiatives and co-create their cloud security and compliance transformation journey, collaborating across functional and product areas to bring the best of Google to the customer.
- Advocate for the innovation of Google security and compliance and help translate it into actionable steps global companies can take towards adoption. Act as a mentor and leader to the wider Google Cloud security organization and compliance professionals.
- Create value and volume security, campaigns, programs, and solutions.
