Role: Security Architect
Location: Remote
Job Title: Security Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Architect with a focus on identity and access management (IAM) and cybersecurity frameworks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SailPoint, CyberArk, and the NIST framework. This role involves designing and implementing security solutions that protect our organization s critical assets and data.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and Design Security Solutions:
- Develop and implement comprehensive security architectures that integrate SailPoint and CyberArk solutions.
- Ensure the security architecture aligns with the organization s business objectives and compliance requirements.
Identity and Access Management (IAM):
- Lead the design and deployment of IAM solutions using SailPoint to manage identities across the organization.
- Implement and manage privileged access management (PAM) systems using CyberArk.
NIST Framework Implementation:
- Apply the NIST Cybersecurity Framework to assess and manage cybersecurity risks.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures based on the NIST framework.
- Conduct regular security assessments to ensure compliance with NIST standards.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with IT, security teams, and business units to design secure solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on security best practices and emerging threats.
- Lead security-related projects from conception to implementation.
Security Monitoring and Incident Response:
- Oversee security monitoring activities to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Develop and implement incident response plans in alignment with the NIST framework.
Training and Development:
- Conduct training sessions for staff on IAM, PAM, and security best practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in cybersecurity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
- Extensive experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ, including design, implementation, and management.
- Strong knowledge of CyberArk Privileged Access Security (Client) solutions.
- In-depth understanding of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
Security Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of security standards, protocols, and best practices.
- Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
Communication and Leadership:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
Education and Certification:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other IAM and PAM tools.
- Familiarity with cloud security and SaaS environments.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
