Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Secretary with experience in grant management to join our team in Hempstead. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support while assisting with grant-related tasks, ensuring compliance, and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and maintain organized records.

Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations as needed.

Serve as a primary contact for internal and external communications.

Grant Management:

Research funding opportunities and assist in preparing grant proposals.

Monitor grant timelines, budgets, and reporting requirements.

Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with guidelines.

Financial Coordination:

Work with finance teams to track expenditures and prepare financial reports.

Assist in budget preparation and reconciliation for grant-funded projects.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a secretarial or administrative role, preferably with grant management exposure.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of grant applications and compliance processes is a plus.
