Paid Search Manager

The Paid Search Digital Marketing Manager at Hoffmann Brothers will play a crucial role in driving high-quality, efficient leads and sales, with a primary focus on Paid Search. This individual will also manage additional paid marketing channels, including Lead Aggregation and Affiliate Partnerships. The ideal candidate is AdWords Certified and will have hands-on experience in executing and optimizing paid search campaigns, along with a deep understanding of the broader digital advertising landscape, including creative strategy, audience targeting, bid management, landing page optimization, and both online and offline ad tracking.
This role demands expertise in Paid Search, as well as experience with testing methodologies and landing page optimization to ensure campaign effectiveness. The candidate should be skilled in analyzing campaign performance against KPIs and leveraging insights to develop and execute impactful strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and excel in managing, optimizing, and growing Paid Search campaigns to meet or exceed monthly lead and sales targets.
- Leverage all Paid Search optimization tools, including keyword and match type selection, audience targeting, ad assets, bidding strategies, and more.
- Manage additional lead generation tactics, including Lead Aggregation and Affiliate Partnerships.
- Analyze Paid Search performance data, along with analytics and offline metrics, to uncover actionable insights and drive continuous improvement.
- Proactively identify and implement new and innovative Paid Search opportunities, products, and beta programs.
- Collaborate with the media planning team to accurately forecast budgets, leads, and sales by market, ensuring optimal results for Paid Search.
- Work with other channel managers to align cross-channel strategies and maximize overall campaign effectiveness.
- Manage and execute test and iteration roadmaps specifically for Paid Search campaigns and landing page optimization.
- Monitor, measure, and track Paid Search KPIs, ensuring benchmarks are met or exceeded. Use insights to identify areas for growth or improvement and present recommendations to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with ad operations and technical teams to ensure accurate tracking and measurement for Paid Search and other marketing channels, including implementing tracking pixels and click trackers.
- Work closely with internal teams on key projects, with a strong emphasis on Paid Search, as well as media planning, creative development, product innovation, sales, big data analysis, e-business strategies, content creation, and market research.
- Participate in cross-functional task forces to share best practices and enhance strategies that benefit Paid Search and other areas of the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required, with a preference for degrees in Information Systems or Marketing.
- 3-5 years of experience managing digital marketing campaigns, with a strong emphasis on Paid Search and hands-on experience within Digital Ads UIs.
- Proven track record of managing and optimizing Paid Search campaigns.
- Google Ads Certified
- Experience in SEO, lead aggregation, affiliate programs, and direct response display campaigns is a plus.
- Expertise in landing page optimization and content management systems.
- Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including online and offline tracking and measurement, with a focus on Paid Search.
- Ability to manage and execute marketing budgets specifically for Paid Search campaigns.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex Paid Search strategies to various audiences, including executive leadership.
- Experience in performing competitive analysis and developing strategic Paid Search plans.
- Ability to lead and manage relationships with external vendors and agencies, particularly those focused on Paid Search.
- Prior experience in the home services industry or similar fields is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office, Google Docs, and SharePoint, with the ability to create clear and effective presentations and work with spreadsheets (experience with formulas, macros, and automation is a plus).
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple Paid Search projects, setting clear expectations around timelines and deliverables for senior leadership.
- Proactive, self-starter, and critical thinker with a focus on driving results in Paid Search.
