Job Description
Summary: This position is responsible for leading the scrum teams in using Agile methodology and scrum practices across multiple development projects involving the MedInformatix core application, cloud applications, and associated modules.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective
- Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization
- Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the team’s progress
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions
- Communicate project status, risks and issues to stakeholders
- Track KPIs and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time
- Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity
- Assist in the design & management of new modules and tools per company
- Create documentation for both new and existing modules as needed
- Apply strong problem solving and decision-making skills while using sound judgement for all assigned tasks
- Advocate that all development efforts are reviewed and aligned with company development best practices
- Work with the team to create an inspirational and creative work environment
- Other duties as assigned
- Familiarity with Jira is preferable

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related area.
- Some experience in the following areas:
- Analyzing Information, Software Design, Software Documentation, Software Testing, Teamwork, General Programming Skills, Software Development Fundamentals, Software Development Process, Software Requirements, Software Architecture
- Certification in Agile methodologies, like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) is a plus
Language Ability:
Strong interpersonal communication skills are required. The successful candidate/employee will be required to use written and oral communication skills. The ability to read, write and comprehend complex instructions, correspondences, and memos is necessary. It also requires the ability to read, analyze, create and interpret general business memos and documents. Strong technical writing and documentation skills are required.
Math Ability:
This position requires basic business math skills.
Reasoning Ability:
The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to think outside the box. Must organized and detail oriented. Strong planning and coordination skills are required. The ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges is required. The ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous/under-defined problems is needed.
Computer Skills:
Strong personal computer literacy is required, with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, and other appropriate software.

Physical Demands:
This position may require long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. There may also be extensive lifting of supplies and materials. The use of hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects is required.
