Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams and foster an Agile mindset within the organization. This role requires applying Agile practices (Scrum or Kanban) across multiple teams, driving team performance, and ensuring continuous improvement. You will guide teams through key Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives, and remove obstacles to ensure smooth delivery of product increments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote Agile principles and behaviors; coach and mentor teams on Agile practices.
- Lead Scrum or Kanban processes for multiple teams, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Guide teams in delivering high-quality product increments and tracking progress toward objectives and KPIs.
- Identify opportunities for performance improvement, focusing on customer value and continuous improvement.
- Resolve impediments and conflicts, manage risks, and suggest effective solutions.
- Facilitate open communication and foster positive team dynamics.
- Collaborate with leadership on scaling Agile practices and planning activities.
- Contribute to the Agile community within the organization and help increase Agile maturity across teams.
- Perform Scrum-of-Scrum role for coordination across multiple teams when needed.
- Support Agile teams of varying maturity levels and drive continuous learning.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree (preferred).
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role, with experience delivering epics, releases, and versions.
- Programming/development experience (preferred).
- Proven ability to apply Agile practices such as retrospectives, user story refinement, and burndown charts.
- Experience in Agile product development best practices.
- Strong leadership and trust-building skills with the ability to challenge teams and drive improvements.
- Agile mindset: Demonstrates core values of openness, courage, respect, focus, and commitment.
- Strong project management and communication skills with the ability to influence across levels.
- Expertise in cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.
