We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­Scientist for a prominent client of ours.  This position is located in ­­Lake County, IL. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

**Monday-Friday 8am-5pm onsite**

(possible earlier start time depending on job tasks)

• The Quantitative, Translational & ADME Sciences Department has an open position for a Scientist Iin North Chicago, IL.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for non-regulated quantitative LC-MS/MS bioanalysis of small molecules from in vivo and in vitro samples, including extraction, data analysis, and interpretation.
• Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Use liquid handling robotics.
  • Perform quantitative LC-MS/MS (Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry) analysis of small molecules from various bio-matrices in vivo and in vitro to support PK/PD, ADME, efficacy, and exploratory toxicology studies.
  • Basic Operation and troubleshooting of AB Sciex LC-MS/MS systems.
  • Maintain excellent documentation of all work including LIMS, test methods, and protocols.
  • Work closely with multiple teams across Discovery and DMPK-BA to support bioanalysis.

Qualifications:

• BS with professional analytical chemistry experince or MS
• LCMS/MS highly preferred (may consider LCMS, HPLC, or MS)
• Protein precipitation, liquid/liquid extraction, and/or solid phase extraction
• LIMS/LIS or any ELN experience

Compensation: $25-38 an hour depending on experience
