Position Summary: |
Develop and supervise implementation of innovative place-based outdoor science curriculum (one-off and multi-visit) for visiting school groups as well as small site based science day camp for prek-8 registered campers during school breaks and summers.

Additionally, this position supports, through actions and conduct, NYBG’s Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility initiatives and helps to build and maintain an inclusive organization culture throughout the institution.

Physical Demands & Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to, at minimum, stand, walk, sit, use hands, climb ladders, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must be able to life and/or move up to 25 pounds and work outdoors under a variety of weather conditions.

Baseline Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
Salary is commensurate with experience within $56,700- $63,000.
