JOB DESCRIPTION:
Scholarship Case Manager Team Leader provides supervision to a team of Case Managers, maintain their own case load of scholarship children, and collaborates with other Case Manager Team Leaders and Program Leaders to provide oversight. Case Managers review and determine eligibility for applicants, Award children, and monitor their activity while awarded.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure best practice standards are implemented and maintained.
Ensure quality and quantity and oversee day to day workflow.
Train new staff in department practices and procedures.
First line problem solving.
Coordinate with other department team leaders for consistency across department
Coordinate with department manager to meet all contractual and agency reporting timelines.
Determine Family eligibility by processing applications
Conduct weekly, monthly, and/or data checks
Award scholarship to eligible children and monitor compliance with program policies, rules and procedures
Communicate with and respond to inquiries from families, early learning programs and the general public.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, social work, human services or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
2+ years’ experience in case management
Demonstrated leadership experience in program development, implementation and/or compliance.
Manage large caseload of clients
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, staff, community partners and public
Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated customer service skills working with diverse communicates, clients and staff
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Dynamics, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Good communication, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a group environment
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This position is available immediately and will have a hybrid work schedule with a mix of on-site and work from home days. Weekly on-site days are required. Applicants must reside within the 7-County Metro.
Think Small offers a minimum of $46,000 for this position.
