Responsibilities
- Provide construction scheduling services for a confidential client in the East. Scheduler shall attend all OAC meetings and other meetings as directed by Overaa.
- The Scheduler is responsible for building and updating schedules, daily, weekly, and monthly, including time impact analyses (TIA’s) as scopes of work are added to the project, and to provide updates to key team members on the progress of project completion. Weekly look ahead schedules, Overaa’s finish early tracking log will be prepared and submitted to Overaa’s PM weekly by noon on Friday’s.
- The Projects use cost loaded scheduling which must interface with project billing and Construction activities. Scheduler will implement the cost loaded schedule.
- Communicate schedule status and proactively communicate expectations early and often to avoid delays and on a regular basis via formal and informal meetings and reports.
- Assist project manager with change orders by providing schedule analyses of schedule impacts. Scheduler will prepare schedule analyses to demonstrate the effect of proposed changes to the schedule.
- Assist project managers with schedule planning, coordinating tasks, and monitoring scheduling timeline of scheduled activities. Provide critical path analyses, identify problem areas and help create scheduling solutions.
- Scheduler will use Primavera P6 and the Microsoft Office Suite. Scheduler will coordinate with the Overaa corporate scheduling manager.
- Attend the Owner meeting weekly and provide and update on schedule

Overall Responsibilities and Authority
- Responsible for risk management as it relates to project execution.
- Responsible for job-specific buyout strategy in coordination with the Project Executive and estimating team.
- Responsible for developing project budgets, cost control, change management, manpower and resource planning, and financial projections.
- Responsible for the master scheduling process in collaboration with the project superintendent and trade partners.
- Leads in developing and implementing quality control, safety and environmental programs for each project with the support of the Superintendent and the Safety and QC departments.
- Leads communication with project stakeholders on issues and makes recommendations for resolution.
- Responsible for directing, supervising, and coaching Project Engineers, Field Engineers, Team Coordinators, and Project Accountants.
- Studies the prime contract with the owner and is responsible to know our rights and obligations under the contract.
- Understands the notice provisions of the prime contract and follows strict adherence to them to preserve our rights and reduce our risk.

Salary range depending on experience - $108K - $176

The anticipated salary range for this position is $ 80,000 to $120.000 per year. This does not include bonus compensation or other benefits such as health, disability, life, retirement, or other benefits which may impact total compensation. The actual offered salary to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to skill set, experience, education, qualifications, and location. This salary range is subject to future modification.
