Our Seattle, WA location is part of our Liquid Beverage division and creates sweet syrups and sauce variations for Kerry customers and brands. What You'll Do:
TheSanitation Operatoris position is responsible for all tasks that are part of the Master Sanitation Program. Additional duties would involve supporting Production Supervisor in all industrial sanitation needs. This position reports to the Sanitation Supervisor. In the absence of the Industrial Sanitation employee, another Industrial Sanitation employee will serve as backup.
+ All tasks on the Master Sanitation List.
+ Clean-up on a large scale prior to audits and inspections.
+ Trainin the Kerry HACCP program in order to identify critical steps and other instructions critical to effective implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety Plan.
+ Maintain control and documentation of sanitation chemicals and equipment.
+ Calculate and record % concentration of chemicals and be able to perform titration tests. Support for the SQF 2000 System.
+ General support of plant production and quality assigned by plant leadership.
+ Attend all safety meetings, report any safety incidents/accidents and understand and follow all Company and Plant Safety policies and Procedures.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
+ High School graduate or equivalent required.
+ Previous experience in the food manufacturing and sanitation requirements.
+ Able to work unsupervised, and in cooperation with associates and departments.
+ Good organizational and mathematical skills.
+ Knowledgeable in GMP and HACCP programs.
+ Ability and willingness to follow, plant Quality, Safety and Security policies and guidelines.
+ Able to effectively communicate with co-workers and plant management.
+ Possess mechanical aptitude, experience and/or willingnessto learn the duties listed in the job description.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
+ Availability to work 9:00PM-5:30AM, Sun.-Thurs. and overtime on Friday as needed.
