About the Job
A food manufacturing company based in Athens County, Ohio, is seeking to hire a sanitation manager and production specialist.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties (in order of importance):

Essential Responsibilities & Duties (in order of importance):
- Ensure production area is cleaned, sanitized and ready for next use
- Make sure anyone in Production area follows sanitation SOP's for food handling, etc.
- Ensure there is no possible allergen or other type of contamination in Production area
- Aid Production Team upon request and as time allows, following all Production SOP's
- Record in Sanitation Log what has and has not been cleaned and readied for the next production day at the end of each day
- Track inventory of cleaning supplies and advise Owner, Sr. Manager and Milo's Accounting of status at end of day each Friday
- Other projects/tasks as needed to successfully perform in this position
Qualifications Needed:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-3 years experience in sanitation field
- Thorough understanding/knowledge of food safety protocol
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
- PCQI (Food Safety) Certification Preferred (can be obtained while on the job)
- BPS (Better Process School) Certification Preferred (can be obtained while on the job)
- Attention to detail
- Work well in team environment
- Good communication skills
- Be a good role model; exercise good leadership skills
- Ability to lift up to 50-60 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day
- Ability to be on feet on cement floor throughout the day
- Ability to flex schedule
