This is a leadership and career growth opportunity to join a new and exciting brand. FACE FOUNDRIÉ’s expectations are for you to first learn it’s system as a Salon Manager, managing day to day operations of our Stamford, CT. facial bar described below. In addition to your experience and talents, FACE FOUNDRIÉ will provide you with industry leading training and support to succeed. Depending on your progression and the growth of the system, you’ll have the opportunity to advance to Area Manager in Fairfield County and potentially beyond. Ownership expects you to think like an owner and act with proactive curiosity to continue to develop this mindset. Salon Manager Responsibilities Include:
Team Management and Leadership
- Create and promote a fun, energetic, honest and compassionate environment from day one in adherence to FACE FOUNDRIÉ’s Core Values (please see attached).
- Cultivate a culture of ownership and results.
- Responsible for all personnel management including recruitment, training, service and product knowledge, loss prevention, performance, safety and legal compliance.
- Ensure all employees are achieving (or exceeding!) FACE FOUNDRIÉ expectations on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Regularly coach, counsel and develop staff to increase their productivity and professional growth. Lead with warmth and positivity while holding team members accountable to standards and goals. Show gratitude and celebrate small wins.
- Conduct regular performance reviews. Provide constructive feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
- Identify opportunities for team growth such as staffing, scheduling and coaching.
- Implement professional development needs for each staff member.
- Ensures all technical service and product trainings are attended.
- Conduct verbal and technical interviews, able to identify appropriate talents needed for Salon growth.
Operations
- Demonstrate and oversee exceptional service and image standards, consistently executing FACE FOUNDRIÉ’s expectations to ensure clients receive an extraordinary and memorable experience.
- Drive Salon sales performance to meet (and exceed!) goals and KPIs including revenue, margin, membership, average ticket, salon utilization, and client retention.
- Ensure that the store is client and inspection ready, from staff to products and supplies.
- Manage retail and professional inventory, ordering new supplies within budget on regular schedule.
- Build and foster relationships with clients to drive conversion and retention. Address client issues and concerns, providing resolutions in a warm, timely and professional manner.
- Create, maintain, and optimize staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours, meet utilization goals, and manage labor cost effectively.
- Supervise and execute timely and accurate payroll submissions, managing scheduled versus actual hours.
- Assist with Front Bar on non admin hours.
Marketing
- Work with Ownership, and staff to develop and execute both marketing strategies and tactics to attract and retain clients.
- Collaborate with Ownership to lead grassroots and community marketing efforts to drive client traffic and engage with local businesses to build partnerships.
- Team with Ownership and staff to coordinate and promote special events, promotions, and collaborations to increase store visibility.
- Assist with Social Media. Execute materials requests from corporate via internal portal.
Financial Management
- Regularly review P&L. Monitor and analyze financial reports, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth to improve EBITDA.
- Work with Ownership to forecast sales, growth trajectories and expansion plans.
- Implement strategies to achieve sales targets and profitability goals. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Collaborate with the Ownership to develop and manage the salon budget.
Qualifications & Requirements
- An understanding, alignment and aspiration to FACE FOUNDRIÉ’s Core Values and the “Who Are You?” sections attached.
- Minimum 2+ year management experience in hospitality, retail, or client service business, including management of hourly workers. Experience in either the beauty, health,
- wellness, or lifestyle verticals a plus. Interest in beauty a must. Esthetician license not required.
- Demonstrated track record of being sales driven, customer service centric, and people management oriented.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, policies, and procedures.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, providing exceptional hospitality.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as listening skills.
- Strong organization skills. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize within a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, proactive and anticipatory. Attention to detail. Curious, flexible, and open mindset. Receives and gives feedback effectively.
- Proficiency with using all Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google (Sheets, Docs) products to manage workflow and produce deliverables.
- Must have the flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule: must have weekend, holiday, and some early morning/late evening weekday availability. Willingness to travel as needed to other FACE FOUNDRIÉ locations, overnight to corporate headquarters, and offsites.

- Initial Base Salary: Highly competitive and based on experience before commissions and bonuses with eligibility for paid time off, sick leave and holidays. Base salary increases to be structured with milestone achievements and with potential to progress to 100K+ Area
