Overview:Responsible for the oversight, administration, and support of servers and infrastructure for enterprise class applications. Manages application servers, operating systems, and associated processes to ensure availability and performance. This is a technical role that includes system design, security, troubleshooting and ongoing system management responsibilities. Assumes ownership of the technical implementation for assigned applications and ensuring they are proactively maintained. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals at various levels. Will be a knowledgeable resource regarding information technology policy and procedures, server technologies, networking technologies, and information technology security best practices.
Responsibilities:Environment Management:
- Oversee and manage multiple Salesforce environments (e.g., production, sandboxes, and scratch orgs) to support development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Plan and execute sandbox refreshes, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.
- Coordinate environment strategy to align with agile delivery and release schedules.
- Experience troubleshooting performance issues and monitoring environment health.
- Support platform data integrations via SQL SSIS, Boomi, Informatica and Azure.
- Support backup strategy and review backup jobs for integrity.
DevOps Support:
- Implement and maintain DevOps solutions for Salesforce, including CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and deployment tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado, or Azure DevOps).
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues, ensuring smooth migration of metadata and configuration changes between environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to establish best practices for branching strategies, code reviews, and deployment processes.
Security Configuration:
- Configure and maintain role hierarchies, profiles, permission sets, and field-level security to enforce data access controls and compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular security audits and proactively address vulnerabilities within the Salesforce platform.
- Manage security policies, including IP restrictions, session settings, Okta single sign on, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) setup.
Managed Package Management:
- Evaluate, install, configure, and maintain managed packages from the Salesforce AppExchange to extend platform functionality.
- Monitor package updates and ensure compatibility with existing Salesforce configurations and customizations.
- Troubleshoot package-related issues and collaborate with vendors for resolution as needed.
Platform Optimization:
- Support the implementation and maintenance of Salesforce best practices, ensuring scalable and efficient system performance.
- Proactively monitor system logs and health dashboards to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and business stakeholders, to deliver secure, high-quality solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Document processes and changes related to DevOps, security, and environment management to ensure transparency and support future growth.
Other Key Areas:
- Working knowledge of Salesforce SOQL, Rest API, and SQL Server.
- Working knowledge of MS PowerShell scripting
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Computer Science, Information Science, Business Administration or related field. (Required)
Required Experience
- 5 or more years Managing server based application systems.
- 3 or years Salesforce experience as a Salesforce Developer/Engineer, Administrator, or DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Salesforce platform management and administration

We set standard salary ranges for our roles based on the position, function, and responsibilities, as benchmarked against similarly sized companies in our industry. Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.
The salary range for this position is $84,100.00 - $140,200.00 annually.
Additional Compensation Components
This job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units. This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
