Job Description:
The objective of this role is to support the sales team and customers through entering orders, providing status reports, invoicing and other strategic tasks to maximize the customer experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACTIVITIES:
The Primary responsibility is to support the sales department and our customers. These activities will include, but not be limited to the following:
- Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.) with customers and industry partners.
- Communicate well with customers and work cross-functionality with other functions of the business.
- Support sales managers with entry of customer orders, processing of sales order changes, and follow-through to ensure accuracy of information entered.
- Work closely with sales managers to ensure all supportive documentation is included and accurate.
- Collaborate with Chassis OEM's to obtain chassis information for sales and engineering teams.
- Generate production reports for customers.
- Handle requests and work internally to find answers for our customers.
- Processing invoices and mailing documentation to customers.
- Populate build sheets for customers by combining information from multiple sources.
- Adheres to safety policies and practices strong safety habits 100% of the time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (College Degree Preferred) with previous experience in team environment.
- Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Highly organized with the ability to perform with minimal direction/supervision.
- Working knowledge of sales processes
- Strong Microsoft office skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Previous ERP system knowledge necessary. JDE/AS400 experience preferred.
- Creative, hands-on problem solver that brings new ideas to the table.
- Responsive with ability to follow-up with customers promptly.
- Makes and keeps commitments.
- Ability to quickly prioritize and complete tasks in a high paced environment.
