Support Outside Sales Representatives
- Annual Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000
- Schedule: 7am to 4pm, Monday – Friday
Support Outside Sales Representatives
- Prepare write ups (client orders, job requirements, etc.)
Daily communication on statuses, questions, problem solving, etc. - Work closely with production to answer questions and liaison between the sales team and production team
- First point of contact for warehouse questions
- Assign dates to new jobs
- Assign place holders
- Update all calendars (outlook, white board)
- Weekly job reminder email
- Schedule Lifts
- Special access
- Site contacts
- Job scheduling
- Schedule travel arrangements for the sales team
- Prepare travel packets/itineraries
- Per Diems
- Schedule lift rentals for the travel construction crew and/or special on-site requirements
- Troubleshoot problematic situations (example: order delays, lost shipments, installation issues, etcetera)
- Become very familiar with entire product line and all internal processes (including administrative, production, and installation – not to perform these tasks, but to understand /gain knowledge of who to go to for answers during specific situations)
- Understand the full story of each order to anticipate potential challenges and stay one-step ahead of the game. Be proactive.
- Work closely with all departments and understand each of their roles within the company and how the processes all connect with each other.
- Willing to be available during off work hours on occasion (not expected, but on occasion, there are situations that arise in which after hour attention is needed – all within reason.)
- Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.
- Strong ability to learn quickly and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and database management systems - Excellent attention to detail and organizational capabilities
- Positive, professional and enthusiastic demeanor
- Previous sales administration/support experience highly preferred or a similar administrative support role.
- Skill in effective, informative presentations
- Ability to respectfully persuade through respectful dialogue
- Must be sales-minded, energetic, and a critical thinker.
- Must have business savviness and know how to effectively communicate/collaborate with all departments (operations, purchasing, customer service, field employees, and management) Ability to field questions, prepare professional write ups to clients, and gain full knowledge of the company’s product line.
- Willing to work long hours and to have the mind set of doing whatever it takes to get the job done.
- Ideal candidate will be highly competitive, ability to handle stress and pressure effectively, able to work in collaborative team environment. Experience in Athletics or experience in playing a sport is highly desired. (Athletic facilities are the majority of the customers which is exciting for sports enthusiasts!)
