POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Government Sales Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the general administration and coordination.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Review incoming shipments and prepare discrepancy reports, quote parts, labor, and sublets as required.
- Bar-coding for parts orders, bag, box, prepare packing slips, and label orders for shipping per contract requirements; email shipment tracking documentation to USCG, open and close repair orders, prepare repair and parts invoices and submit via Government Invoice Processing Platform.
- Search government bid sites daily for new or available bids.
- Manage billing orders and tracking, back orders and review job costing; submit job costing for approval to close, monitor outstanding orders that require approvals, and close sales jobs.
- Ensure all sale files contain correct documentation such as, purchase orders, shipping documents, quotes, job costing, customer signed change orders and any additional documentation for parts & service.
- Other duties as assigned and / or required relating and supporting the Government sales department and interact with and / or source 3rd party vendors and Subcontractors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and five to seven years related experience required. Associates or Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Computer Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Prior experience with JD Edwards / Oracle preferred.

Experience
Required- 5 - 7 years: Five to seven years related experience required.
