They’re product portfolio focuses on oil & gas, general industry/manufacturing, automotive, hospitals, universities food & beverage, water/wastewater, power and others.
Sales Engineer – Industrial Automation.
The Sales Engineer is in charge of growing the territory’s revenue in all industries that are covered. They are directly responsible for hitting targets, obtaining new customers and growing existing accounts. You will be expected to travel around the Greater Phoenix Area (2 hour radius) to sell a leading automation products and systems to a variety of customers.
Key responsibilities
- Actively seek new leads and business
- Meet with existing and prospective customers to sell a leading automation products and engineered solutions
- Identify and initiate action plans to penetrate new markets
- Grow existing accounts in the region
- Participate in the daily sales activities
Qualifications:
- 3 years’ experience in industrial sales, preferably selling industrial automation products
- Experience growing revenue and profits in the in the markets covered
- Good technical understanding of industrial automation
- A 4 years degree in engineering and/or business administration (preferred)
Skills/Personal Qualifications:
- Based in the greater Phoenix area
- Willingness to travel within the territory
- Proven ability to sell and educate on technical products
- Self-starting attitude towards sales
- An excellent communicator with management experience
- A critical thinker who requires little guidance to solve problems
- High energy, self-driven person with an entrepreneurial outlook to business
