Burkhead Electric is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales/Project Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you'll serve as the key link between clients and internal teams, ensuring projects run smoothly from concept to completion. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
- Coordinate project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure materials and resources are aligned with project needs.
- Assist customers in designing projects that align with their vision and compliance standards.
- Provide ongoing field crew support and ensure smooth communication between all parties involved.
- Manage time and material budgets while identifying opportunities to streamline processes.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, new products, and techniques to offer innovative solutions.
- Experience: Previous experience in project coordination or sales, preferably in the electrical or construction industries. (Required)
- Licensing: State of Iowa Electrical License (Preferred)
- Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC), local electrical codes, and installation techniques.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with project management tools (e.g., Procore, ServiceTitan) and budgeting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
- Education/Training: 4+ years of electrical trade experience is preferred
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
