About the Job

• Making routine sales calls with existing customers to review product needs while determining other parts and service opportunities.
• Providing product quotes as required.
• Organizing and attending joint sales calls with Vendors.
• Opening new accounts.
• Continuously updating customers on product changes and modifications.
• Providing solutions to customers’ problems.
• Introduction of new products.
• Liaising between customers and the company for up-to-date status of service, pricing and new product release launches.
• Performing maintenance and updating of customers’ accounts including contact names for future sales.
• Keeping up to date on new products, services, procedures and tools by attending training and departmental meetings.
• All other duties as assigned.

Prefer candidates with a BA/BS in Business Administration, Marketing or related degree; or four to ten years related experience and/or training in relevant industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
Prefer candidates with sales experience in a vocational industry or experience parts or service Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken and written word.
Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals.
Ability to focus on a goal and obtain a pre-determined result.
Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers.
Ability to persuade a group of people to work toward a goal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Work in air conditioned office, outside and workshop.
Will be required on occasion to work more than 8 hours on one shift.

Manual dexterity sufficient to work with fingers (i.e. frequent typing)
