JOB OVERVIEW: The Sales and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Director of Sales and Marketing through the implementation of sales and marketing programs.
REPORTS TO: Regional Directors of Sales
KEY RELATIONSHIPS:
Internal: Front office team, Sales and Marketing team, Housekeeping, all Resort Managers and Executive Offices.
External: Resort & Resident guests/visitors, the Owners, Travel and Tour Company Representatives and Meeting Planners.
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
- High school graduate.
- Fluency in English and/or Spanish, Portuguese or Russian. Strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Ability to:
- Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
- Prioritize and organize.
- Be a clear thinker, remain calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
- Follow directions thoroughly
- Understand guest’s services and needs.
- Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest/resident information and pertinent resort data.
Desirable:
- College degree.
- Experience with Daylight, Sales and Marketing Management Software.
- Previous experience in hospitality industry.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Essential:
- Exert physical effort in transporting 5 to 20 pounds.
- Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.
- Reach 12 inches.
- Remain in stationary position for 6-8 hours throughout work shift.
- Satisfactory communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
