BGM is seeking a Sales Marketing Coordinator to help support the day to day functions of the B2B marketing & sales planning services, a team we refer to as Pre Sales. The primary goal of the Pre Sales team is to inspire decision makers at advertising agencies and brands/organizations to partner with us, through the variety of meaningful, creative & innovative media solutions that we offer. You’ll play a central role in helping produce all of the content that we utilize as part of the pre-sales process. This includes the deployment of strategic email marketing campaigns, targeted social media campaigns and custom, creative pitch presentations. The Sales Marketing Coordinator will gain hands-on experience working with dynamic teams within the advertising department, including Studio/B (branded content), Globe Events, Newsroom Initiatives, and Advertising Sales, among others.
Responsibilities:
- Support in the creation of sales materials and proposals
- Support in the RFP process by pulling together appropriate content and data for final submissions
- Champion B2B email marketing content and engagement tracking
- Provide prospecting support for all categories through our various prospecting tools (ZoomInfo, Winmo, LinkedIn Navigator, etc).
- Provide a weekly data pull of all B2B performance, engagement and upcoming activity - social media, email marketing, contacts from B2B events, etc.
- Manage client entertainment ticketing opportunities to external events, concerts, and more
- Manage guest lists for B2B events, creating invitations and tracking RSVPs
- Assist in tracking advertising leads from sales marketing initiatives to better understand the lifecycle of our marketing campaigns and how they relate to closed business
Qualifications
- Creative thinker who is deadline driven & can manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Results-oriented individual who is passionate about the media and marketing industry
- Flexible to changing deadlines, understand how to prioritize tasks, and have a can-do positive attitude that helps contribute to the success of the team
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field is required
- Familiarity with Google Suite is required - specifically Word, Sheets, and Slides
- Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, creating sales presentations and drafting marketing copy is a plus
- 1-2 years experience in a content, sales, or marketing assistant position is a plus (related co-ops and internships may be applicable)
- A willingness to adapt and be audience focused, with a curious mindset and a commitment to creating an inclusive work environment
The BGMP office is located in downtown Boston, near Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, and is easily accessible by MBTA and commuter rail lines. This position is based in Boston, and candidates should be based in the area or willing to move.
