Main Responsibilities:
External Sales:
- Utilize market data and prospecting techniques to generate profitable new business.
- Identify prospects and generate inquiries for projects, promoting full project and service capabilities.
- Identify key stakeholders within targeted organizations and maximize opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
- Lead or support customer/site visits and company presentations to strengthen relationships and provide comprehensive customer support throughout the sales process.
- Cultivate long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with new customers through various channels.
- Interpret customer engineering requirements, conduct site surveys, and generate inquiry data.
- Provide quality service to internal and external customers, aligning with company values.
Reporting and Administration:
- Report sales performance and prospects to the Location Manager using agreed frameworks.
- Ensure efficient hand-over to Operations once orders are secured.
- Maintain timely updates in internal customer relationship systems.
- Provide customer service support during and after contracts, participating in "Lessons Learned" sessions.
- Learn and adhere to company processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
General:
- Adhere to and support the implementation of HR processes and procedures.
- Strictly adhere to Company's Health and Safety Procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain a positive and professional image of the company, including wearing correct branded attire when required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement processes and drive efficiency and standardization forward.
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Solid sales or contract management experience, particularly in the production equipment installation environment.
- Proven track record of identifying and winning new business in a service-oriented industry, heavy equipment or machine moving or rental services preferred.
- Active knowledge of mechanical/installation engineering projects and processes.
- Demonstrable commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft packages and internal systems.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Experience in the machinery movement/installation industry is advantageous.
