We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Sales Manager to join our thriving Sales team. This position will play a crucial role in driving our business growth by leading our sales team and building long-lasting relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and a deep understanding of the POP packaging industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to apply their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area or product line.
2. Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets.
3. Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
4. Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
5. Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
6. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
7. Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
8. Work closely with the marketing department to develop and execute point of purchase displays and strategies.
9. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales department.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
2. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales management role, preferably within the Corrugated Packaging industry.
3. Proven experience managing a high performing sales team.
4. Ability to lead and motivate team members to exceed sales targets.
5. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
6. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
7. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
8. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
9. Strong proficiency in managing point of purchase displays.
10. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
11. Strong business acumen with a strategic ability.
12. Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
13. Ability to travel as needed.
