PrideStaff is currently seeking a Sales/Logistics Coordinator for a well known and respected Export Management company near the Northfield, IL area. They are the International Sales Department for leading manufactures in safety service markets.
This is a Monday-Friday position that will allow you to work both remotely or in office. The hourly salary is negotiable depending on experience $28.00+ DOE
Job description :
We are seeking a full-time entry level sales associate to support our team and that can expand sales, build relationships, and offer excellent customer service. This position will report directly to the president of the company.
The sales associate is responsible for the handling of international (export) inquiries and orders.
This position includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Assist the office with general duties.
- Answer daily calls and emails in a timely manner.
- Manage current accounts and develop new ones with the focus on growth.
- Support and work with sales managers by preparing quotes, international bids, negotiating rates, preparing documents, creating price lists, updating the system, etc.
- Prepare files for each individual shipment and document all related information for each shipment.
- Maintain files for easy reference by others within the company.
- Produce, and complete set of export documents for each shipment, customizing these to meet individual customer/country requirements (commercial invoices, statements, packing lists, drafts of letters of credit, etc.)
- Responsible for order processing from receipt of order, through delivery of goods and final invoicing to customer, and all functions of Customer Service associated with this process.
- Placing the demand on the supply source and confirming delivery dates to the customer.
- Maintain communication with international distributors, vendors, and agents overseas.
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy. timeliness and sales targets.
- Comply with export regulations.
- Review and approve vendor invoices.
- Participate in sales and training meetings.
- Research, trouble-shoot, respond and provide resolution to all customer requests, including complaints, returns, pricing, shipment tracking, discrepancies, and logistics issues.
- Participate in domestic or international trade shows.
- Bilingual in Spanish is required. Additional languages are a plus.
- SALES EXPERIENCE IS A MUST!
- College degree preferred.
- Firefighting experience is a plus.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $25.00 - $30.00 Per Hour
