- Onsite 5 days a week - 7am - 4pm during training.
- After training hours can remain the same or can move to 5:30am - 2:30pm - Must be flexible depending on business need
- The Sales Administrator (Order Management/Sales Support) position is currently remote but will transition into a hybrid work model working out of our Redwood City, CA office.
- Local candidates preferred.
- Must be local/able to commute to Redwood City, CA office (will transition to hybrid model, number of days/week TBD).
- Initial primary tasks entail processing Quotations and Sales Orders in Oracle, providing excellent customer service (for both external and internal/Sales) and working closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Procurement, Finance, Service, Order Fulfillment and Logistics.
- Process high volume of Quotations and Sales Orders in Oracle (according to SOX controls, corporate policy, and Revenue Recognition requirements) for the AMER Region, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support Instrument Field Sales with requests.
- Responsible for managing specific Sales Districts. Submit customer master/account requests.
- Submit requests for credits/re-bills/RMAs/Replacements.
- Provide support and coverage to counterparts as needed.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, including potential over-time during month and quarter end.
- Accurate, detail oriented, able to multi-task, prioritize and stay organized to meet critical deadlines.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to articulate clearly and effectively with customers (external and internal) and to write business correspondence.
- Computer literate, proficient/intermediate in Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Must have a team-oriented mindset and be able to build collaborative relationships with management, peers, and cross-functional teams, such as Shipping, Procurement, Finance, Service and Logistics. Flexibility to accommodate fluctuations in workload. Apply commonsense and able to comprehend a wide variety of complex instructions and requests.
- Must be local/able to commute to Redwood City, CA office (will transition to hybrid model, number of days/week TBD).
- Must be available to potentially work overtime during month and quarter-end.
- Oracle experience. Experience with Order Management processes (quote to order process).
- Experience with Revenue Recognition requirements.
- Experience with Pre/Post-Sales Support.
- Experience operating in a Customer Service team.
- Experience in the Biotech Industry a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or 4+ years relevant experience
