Location::Omaha NE -Remote (onsite at least once per month)

JOB DESCRIPTION ::

• Manage sql server databases
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes
• Monitor system\'s health and performance
• Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security
• Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
• Provide suggestions for solutions
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
• Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
• Troubleshoot ssis packages and jobs
• Ability to design, build, and troubleshoot etl routines using ssis.
• Ability to design, develop, and troubleshoot complex stored procedures and functions.
• Skill in logical database design and data modeling (star schema and 3nf)
• Knowledge of data privacy and protection initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal skills to resolve problems in a professional manner.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information verbally and in writing.
• Capable of working under deadlines and available after hours for deployments/production issues.
