**Overview:**

The Speech Therapist provides direct and indirect patient care, implementing treatment programs based on physician referrals and collaboratively developed care plans. Areas of focus include aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, cognitive impairment, voice disorders, and dysphagia.

**Responsibilities:**

• Engage in professional growth and adapt to multiple locations.
• Stay informed on hospital and departmental changes.
• Identify problems and develop treatment plans post-evaluation.
• Ensure continuity of care through effective documentation and communication.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and respond to specific task requests.
• Demonstrate clinical competence.

**Qualifications:**

• Ability to assist in patient transfers.
• Essential skills include clear communication, confidentiality, crisis management, and customer service.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records.

**Credentials:**

• Licensed Speech Therapist
• BLS Certification

**Education:**

• Master of Science (MS) in Speech Therapy
