Job Overview: Ignite is seeking an experienced Electronic Warfare Lead to guide our team at Hurlburt Field, FL. This leadership role requires onsite presence and involves orchestrating the development and execution of electronic warfare strategies to support Air Force operations.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Position Summary: The Electronic Warfare Lead will oversee initiatives to enhance the electronic warfare capabilities of the US Air Force. This position entails strategic leadership, comprehensive assessments, and continuous development of electronic warfare practices to achieve optimum operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy:
- Spearhead the electronic warfare program, setting strategic directions and ensuring alignment with national defense objectives.
- Lead a team of specialists in conducting rigorous assessments and developing new tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for electronic warfare.
- Advanced Assessments and System Enhancement:
- Oversee the evaluation of electronic warfare systems to identify performance metrics, strengths, weaknesses, and improvement areas.
- Develop innovative assessment tools and methodologies to measure the effectiveness of current electronic warfare tactics.
- Collaborative Initiatives and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary liaison between various squadrons, military branches, and defense industry partners to enhance electronic warfare technologies and practices.
- Drive the integration of emerging technologies and methodologies into current practices by fostering collaborative relationships.
- Operational Support and Expertise Provision:
- Participate in and oversee military exercises and operations to evaluate and validate electronic warfare capabilities in real-world scenarios.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to team members, enhancing their skills and knowledge in electronic warfare.
- Continuous Learning and Policy Development:
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in electronic warfare systems, emerging threats, and countermeasures.
- Contribute to the development of national electronic warfare strategies, policies, and guidelines to adapt to changing threat landscapes.
Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
- Proven capability in analytical and strategic thinking, with a track record of managing complex projects and making data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in modern assessment methodologies, simulation tools, and modeling techniques.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading diverse teams and interfacing with high-level stakeholders.
- Active or eligible for a required level of security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in commanding electronic warfare units or significant leadership roles within the military.
- Comprehensive understanding of military doctrine and strategic implications of electronic warfare.
- Demonstrated experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a collaborative environment.
- Relevant certifications in electronic warfare or related fields.
