Baer is looking for SAP APO Lead for a 9+ month project located in Ewing, NJ.

Title: SAP APO Lead
Location: Hybrid – Ewing, NJ
Duration: 9 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:
 

• Lead the SAP APO and PP module implementation and upgrade processes, with a focus on transitioning to RISE (SAP S/4HANA).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather inputs, address concerns, and provide clear guidance on customizations and functionality.
• Manage remediation efforts, ensuring smooth migration to the RISE platform and minimal disruption to operations.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms).
• Lead and coordinate the offshore team in executing SAP APO and PP module work, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Provide expertise in technical upgrades and the migration process, particularly in brownfield environments.
• Participate in at least 1-2 full life cycle implementations, managing all phases from blueprint to post-production support.
• Support the testing, deployment, and optimization of the SAP APO and PP solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to APO/PP and related RICEF developments.
• Ensure that all implementations meet SAP best practices and client requirements.

Requirements:
 

• Strong expertise in SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) and PP (Production Planning) modules.
• Proven experience with SAP RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) development and customization.
• 1-2 full life cycle implementations of SAP APO, including brownfield or technical upgrade projects.
• Experience working with offshore teams and managing cross-functional project tasks.
• Deep understanding of SAP APO and PP functionalities, including planning, forecasting, and production scheduling.
• Hands-on experience with technical upgrade processes in SAP APO, particularly in the context of moving to RISE (SAP S/4HANA).
