POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Analyst/Reviewer – Indirect Tax (Property Tax) is primarily responsible for delivering high quality client service related to Property Tax compliance and managing multiple large engagements while ensuring client satisfaction including accuracy and compliance with applicable guidelines and regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Ability to perform review of complex engagements and review of the property tax returns, assessments and tax bills handled by analysts and associates.
+ Expertise on Property Tax concepts and well versed with tools like PTMS and ONESOURCE.
+ Monitor, document and apply any changes in tax rates, tax laws for property tax return preparation.
+ Responsible for Quality Assurance for projects handled by the team.
+ Ability to identify technical issues on the engagements and to present with the recommendations to the engagement teams.
+ Ability to manage the engagements and coach the team on technical concepts.
+ Acting as subject matter expert (“Go To” Person) and be a conduit for knowledge sharing.
+ Actively participating in the technical forums.
+ Develop content and help conduct trainings.
+ Ability to identify gaps, coach, mentor and developing technical skills of team members.
+ Build professional relationship with the engagement teams.
+ Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Associate’s degree in business-related major preferred.
+ 3 to 6 years of property tax return preparation, review, accounting and finance experience with strong customer service related experience.
+ Critical thinking and analytical skills.
+ Aptitude for learning technology (proprietary tools).
+ Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills.
+ A process improvement and knowledge-sharing mindset.
+ Execute effectively in cross-cultural business settings.
+ Experience working with an outsourcing work stream or in a shared service environment required.
+ Strong proficiency with, MS Office suite. Good experience with Vertex.
+ Ability to work additional hours as needed.
+ This role is an on-site role and will require individuals to work in person from the assigned office.
