What you’ll be doing:
- Perform DOT Safety Functions including Annual DQ Reviews, Equipment inspections, and driver HOS training
- Provide Support for Safety management and Transportation team
- Reinforce safety awareness in a manner that promotes cooperation and morale
- Road testing/DOT Qualification of driver candidates
- Provide administrative support for Field safety managers
- Work with Sr Safety Leadership to update Polices and Regulation documents
- Track truck audits and communicate results to ensure inspection goals are on track
- Provide Safety leadership with reporting on guidance completion and post accidents requirements
- Monitor and report performance CSA and HOS metrics
- Assist Safety Manager in conducting facility inspections
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 1 years of Transportation Safety experience
- CDL Class A in good standing
- 1 year of CDL A experience
- Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to travel 25%
- Equipment knowledge and mechanical aptitude
