About the Job
A client in the Financial Technology industry is seeking a Risk Project Manager to join its Digital Data AI and Marketing technologies organization in support of the Strategic Program Director. The role of this Project Manager is to help support the Model Technology Risk Committee piece of the Program Director's remit. This individual will help assess where the program is currently contrasted to the goals for the first half of the year and help proactively identify where the organization should focus the remainder of the year. The individual should understand the first, second and third lines of defense for risk and compliance and should know several structures of risk models and frameworks. This could encompass a broad knowledge around fin-tech services, including several verticals such as financial risk, branding risk, info-sec risk, credit and fraud risk, and so on. Additionally, they must have strong knowledge around FRB exams and regulatory scrutiny and processes.
Pay for this position is around $65/hr.

Risk assessment and management experience: proven ability to execute/mitigate risks associated with audit findings
Compliance expertise: understanding of relevant regulations, standards and industry best practices
Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to develop effective remediation strategies
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including internal and external auditors
Familiarity with relevant software tools and systems for risk management, compliance, and project management
