We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Revenue/Regulatory Supervisor to join our team in the Energy industry, specifically within the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial management and regulatory compliance, with a keen understanding of the oil and gas industry's unique challenges and opportunities. This position will be responsible for managing the revenue and regulatory functions within the organization, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, and delivering accurate and timely financial reports.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Revenue/Regulatory Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of the revenue and regulatory functions within the organization.
2. Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of balance sheet reconciliations, year-end close, monthly close, and variance reporting.
3. Utilizing Quorum software to manage and streamline regulatory processes.
4. Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to the oil and gas industry.
5. Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
6. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as needed.
7. Providing leadership and guidance to the revenue and regulatory team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Staying abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the organization's continued compliance and competitive edge.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
2. Proficiency in Quorum software.
3. Strong experience in balance sheet reconciliation, year-end close, monthly close, and variance reporting.
4. A deep understanding of the regulations governing the oil and gas industry.
5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
9. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
