Retail Buying Intern - University of Utah

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Retail Buying Intern to provide crucial buying support to the Campus Store Buying Team.As a Retail Buying Intern at the University of Utah Campus Store, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and services. Your responsibilities will include working closely with vendors to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of products. You will assist in the purchasing process for various categories, including gifts, convenience store items, and other merchandise. Additionally, you will analyze sales data to identify trends, manage inventory levels, and support the supply chain team with administrative tasks. This position will report directly to the Sr. Associate Director of Buying and Vendor Relations. This internship offers comprehensive experience in retail buying, merchandising planning and supply chain management while providing valuable insights into the operations of a campus store.The University of Utah is the states public flagship institution and a top-tier research university.
