We are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager for Lyle Washington DC. Our preferred Restaurant Manager would have luxury or independent hospitality experience in the Washington DC market.
You are someone that thrives in a non-stop environment, has an open mind, a great sense of humor, and loves finding solutions, working with a team and proactively creating positive outcomes.
You must be able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business. This includes morning, lunch, evening, late-night, weekend and holiday shifts.
Core Essential Functions:
- Reporting into the Restaurant General Manager Manage , you will manage the daily overall daily operations of Café Riggs to ensure an exceptional guest experience
- Maintain a flawless relationship with the entire hotel team & be the main point of contact for the hotel leadership team
- Responsible for staff scheduling & payroll
- Welcome guests in a warm, personable, sincere, and friendly manner
- Direct and participate in the functions of the Food and Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation
- Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs
- Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding guest experience
- Regularly review and evaluate guest feedback to ensure a great food and beverage operation
- Assist in recruiting the best-in-class staff and manage the development, motivation, and retention of our team
This position requires the following knowledge, skills and abilities
- Hotel Experience is not required - Fun and welcoming personality is a MUST
- 3 - 5+ years of upscale restaurant experience
- Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations is required
- Willingness to learn and adapt in new situations
- Positive outlook and attitude is a must
Beneficial Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field

- Prior experience designing, implementing and leading effective training programs for continuous improvement
Pay Range: 60K- 65K
