Restaurant Line Cook - Lolita Cocina

Lolita Cocina and Tequila Bar in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston is looking for solid, full time line cooks to strengthen the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining a station, cleaning and prepping food, cooking menu items, and keeping a sanitary and tidy work station. Flexibility with both scheduling and kitchen stations is a must.

The kitchen is open three days a week until 1am. Candidates must be available to work until 1am at least 1 day per week.

1. Keep a sanitary work station that meets health department standards
2. Follows all company procedures, policies, expectations, and quality standards
3. Prepare menu items in a timely manner
4. Work as part of a team
5. Monitor product freshness and rotate stock in accordance with company policy

• Food handler's certificate is preferred
• Working knowledge of Spanish language is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds in weight, regularly
• Must have good working knowledge of food preparation
• Must be able to communicate clearly with both staff and management.
